Introduction to Baby Food

Introduction to 6 month Baby food
                       Newly moms are really confused when they are in starting solids . Each baby and mom is unique.At ths same time,each baby food   is different depend upon baby consuming the  quantity of food ,texture,taste .After 6 months,introduce solids in every 4 days once with keep tracking of any allergic reactions in baby .Dont overfeed.The baby will judge the required amount of food,water,milk .
Dont force to eat food . Donot add sugar ,salt,colouring agents,preservative substance  to any baby food .
Its the right time to start solids otherwise baby doesnt have interest on solids .



1.  Rice porridge.   
               

2. Sprouted Ragi porridge.

3. Idli -          pour little hot water  for semi solid consistency when feeding.Tomato chutney and        coconut chutney is  preferrable for little babies without using  of  chillies when grinding of chutneys


4. Mashed Banana - add liitle milk to be blend for enhancing the taste .

5. Milk Rice   -   mash rice well then  add little milk (cows milk) and water .
                        for little babies.

6. Curd Rice  -   mash rice well ,then add little  curd and water ,Preferably buttermilk consistency is              

                        good, if  you want to enhance the flavour, go with seasoning .


7.Apple Juice    -   put pieces of apple ,milk and water to blended and filter it.(little milk and water)

8.Orange Juice  -  preferably buy contrast colour oranges .squeeze out juice and dilute with water.

9 .Dal Rice       -  mix rice and dal (1 /4 ),(cook dal with apinch of turmeric pdr,cumin pdr) and mash well,go with seasoning .

8. Potato Rice   -    mix small baked or boiled potatoes with rice and mash well.potato should be in well cooked.

9. Carrot Rice   -     mix  well cooked carrot  with mashed rice .


8. BeetRoot Rice-    mix well cooked beetroot  with mashed rice


9. Rasam Rice


10.Green Leaves Rice -Preferably buy amarnath leaves for 6 month old  and try palak leaves
       too

11.Pongal -  plain pongal is best for babies  without adding of jeera and peppers

12 .Upma

13.Dosai  with chutneys or any other vegetable stews .

14. Carrot Puree .

17.  Vegetable soups
